According to the Yoga Sutras, the ultimate aim of Yoga is to reach "Kaivalya" (freedom). This is the experience of one's innermost being or "soul" Most people associate yoga only with the exercise of asanas but in reality, it is much more than that.
Here at the Yoga Studio, we take you through a
journey of Yoga, rarely found in other classes. We believe that since there are
many different schools of yoga and the practice of asanas, factors such as age,
physical condition, health, and previous experience etc., the recommended
practice should be different from individual to individual. The asanas should be
modified to serve the highest good of the person rather then the person having
to adopt to fit into the practice of the asanas. Pranayama (breathing
technique), Savasan (relaxation), Dhyana (mediatation) and Chanting are also
part of the daily classes.
The Studio is also a place for you to unwind and relax. In this quiet ambience,
